Welcome to Arcochat. By accessing or using our website, interactive demo, or desktop client workspace application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Use of the Software & Workspace

Arcochat provides a professional client-side productivity interface that coordinates multiple AI model APIs. Under these terms:

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access the website resources and utilize the desktop application client.
  • Arcochat is currently in active early access. Features, UI configurations, and supported APIs are subject to change, optimization, or depreciation at any time.

2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Responsibility

Arcochat operates as an isolated interface. We do not provide AI model compute natively. Under this BYOK architecture:

  • You are solely responsible for acquiring, managing, and funding your own developer API credentials (from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.).
  • You agree to comply with the terms of service of each respective AI provider.
  • Arcochat is not liable for API pricing increases, rate limits, server outages, or charges incurred on your third-party API accounts.

3. Data Ownership & Storage

Because Arcochat executes model actions locally and stores files locally on your client machine, you retain sole ownership of all outputs, conversation logs, and workspace assets. You are solely responsible for executing backups of your project directories and keys.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Arcochat is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from hallucinations typical of underlying AI models.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arcochat and its builder shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software, database connections, or configured local tools.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to consumer software, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes shall be handled through constructive dialogue.
